SKSA Baseball Tournaments

Spring-Klein Baseball hosts baseball tournaments throughout the year for all classifications. We hope to have the opportunity to crown your team as one of our tournament champions.

All Spring-Klein hosted events are either non-sanctioned or sanctioned by Nations Baseball, however Spring-Klein facilities are also used by other independent groups which may host events sanctioned by other affiliations such as USSSA. Please note that the appropriate rules specific to the affiliation sanctioning the event will be applied.

For questions email the tournament directors at tournaments@sksa.com.

Rule Change for Approved Bats

SKSA rule change for age groups that allow lighter than -5 bats:

Bat Rule

Three types of bats are approved for use in Nations Texas tournaments

  1. Bats containing the new BPF 1.15 “thumbprint” stamp on the transition area between the handle and the barrel
  2. Bats that are BBCOR certified for use by the National Federation of High School Sports in high school games
  3. Wooden bats are legal in all age groups
  4. In 14U tournaments bats must be BBCOR OR BPF 1.15 and -5 or heavier
  5. In 15U and higher tournaments, only BBCOR bats are legal.

These rule changes are effective immediately at all games played at SKSA.

Check-In Requirements:

Teams are not required to check in prior to games UNLESS the entire fee has not been paid.

Teams must have rosters posted online no later than the day BEFORE the tournament start date (not your first game).

Park Rules

Please note the following:

  1. Pets are not allowed at the park
  2. Coolers will be allowed
  3. No skateboards or bikes
