Spring-Klein Adult Softball

Thank you for visiting the SKSA Adult Softball site. We offer adult slow-pitch softball leagues for men's and coed teams. Leagues are played throughout the year and we occasionally host tournaments as well.

All leagues consist of 6 weeks of double-headers for a total of 12 games per league. SKSA hosts leagues for C, D, and REC divisions. All play is sanctioned by USA Softball; USA Softball and SKSA park rules will be observed. League games are played Sunday through Friday each week with different levels playing on assigned days.

All SKSA Adult Softball games are played at Collins Park, which is located at 6727 Cypresswood Drive. Click here for a map of the park and field location.

To Register your team, please fill out the registration form and you can mail it in with payment by check or credit card or you can bring it by to the concession stand any night we are playing in which the concession stand is opened. If you want to make payment by email, you can fill out the credit card form and email it to us. Scroll down to find our forms.

THE 2019 SCHEDULE WILL BE RELEASED AND POSTED THE FIRST OR SECOND WEEK OF JANUARY. NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE TAKEN UNTIL THEN. ENJOY YOUR HOLIDAYS AND SEE YA NEXT YEAR!

See below for start dates for our nightly leagues. Registrations will be taken in up until the week before league start on a first-come, first-serve basis. Only teams who have sent in a deposit will be placed in line for a spot or put on the wait list if already full. A registration form can be found below in the "forms" section.

• Tuesday mens league - No more Tuesday mens league this year. Next leagues will start up again mid February 2019.

• Thursday mens league - No more Thursday mens league this year. Next leagues will start up again mid February 2019.

Adult Softball League Information

LEAGUE FORMAT:

• All leagues will be 6 weeks of double headers (12 games)
• USA Softball and Park Rules will apply

Adult Softball League Fees

League Fee Information:

• League Fee = $400.00
• USA Softball Sanction Fee = 35.00 (Paid Once Annually)
• Forfeiture Fee = 35.00 (Paid Once Annually - Non-Refundable)
• Total Fee Payable to SKSA = $ 470.00 + Umpires Fees (see below)

Umpire Fees:

• Umpire fees are not included in League Fees
• Umpire fees are $18.00 (two umpires) or $13.00 (single umpire) per game
• Cash payment due at the start of each game

NOTES:

• $100.00 deposit required at registration to reserve your spot
• Deposits will be accepted on a first come-first served basis
• League fees are due in full the first night of the season - $25.00 Late Fee Per Week
• $50.00 discount if paid in full prior to first night
• $25.00 discount for returning teams (this does not apply for the 1^st league of 2018)
• $50.00 discount for Church team
• $25.00 discount for company sponsored teams
• Discounts do not apply if the league fees are not paid in full by the first night
• $25.00 fee applied for all returned checks
• SKSA accepts MasterCard and Visa

Adult Softball Rules and Equipment Information

Balls

• Men in both men only and coed play shall hit only USA Softball/ASA approved red‑stitched, core .52, 300 compression, 12” balls.
• Women in coed play shall hit only USA Softball/ASA approved red-stitched, core 44, 375 compression, 11” balls.

***Softballs can be purchased at our concession stand for $7.00 each, or you can bring your own so long as they are in compliance.

Bats

All approved bats from any Association will be allowed (that includes USA Softball, ASA, NSA and USSSA bats). Any banned bats by any Association will not be allowed. See list below for a list of banned bats.
